Dedicated to the UAE's TECH ECOSYSTEM

Greetings! My name is Khalid AlAwar from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I'm a tech entrepreneur turned data scientist who loves using data and machine learning to create an impact. My tech background was aided by my studies of Computer Engineering at Khalifa University. I have established my entrepreneurial experience from developing apps that got more than 1.5M downloads and going through cofounding a SaaS company Mabany. In addition, I specialize in tech and entrepreneurship by going on programs in the Silicon Valley and studying Master of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology at the University of Waterloo. I have worked in AstroLabs where I played a role in boosting the tech ecosystem in the UAE and the region.

Finding my vocational call, I have dedicated myself to building my capabilities in data science completing multiple industry recognized certifications and publishing sample machine learning projects on Github. One of the virtues I hold dear and am dedicated to implement is the ongoing constant learning and education. I would say that a key in my accomplishments is the constant investment in reading books, listening to audiobooks, and self-studying tech programs. Currently, I work in Talabat Delivery Hero conducting data analysis and using software engineering, scaling automation, and machine learning to build data products to assisting guide and improve business decision-making.
